Kind of a dull color / finish so text doesn't really pop. Not very strong adhesive.

FoilGuard labels might have some slight discoloration in designs that use large areas of color or suffer from fading due to abrasive materials wearing away the ink. To ensure that your asset tag bonds and functions correctly on the applied surface, it is highly recommended that the application surface be clean. Dirty surfaces reduce your adhesion by 40%, making cleaning an integral part of the prepping process to guarantee functionality. We do have other materials available. I like it but if we need to remove the label for any reason it's really hard to take off.
